Gonzalo Vazquez-Bare
Gonzalo Vazquez-Bare, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Vazquez-Bare is an econometrician interested in designing methods for the analysis of treatment effects and policy evaluation. His research interests include identification and estimation of causal spillover effects, experimental design, regression discontinuity designs, and difference-in-difference models. His research focuses on both theoretical and empirical issues, and he has developed software packages for Stata and R.
Vazquez-Bare earned a Ph.D. in Economics and an M.A. in Statistics from the University of Michigan in 2018.
