Roy Levy
Roy Levy, Ph.D., is Professor of Measurement and Statistical Analysis in the T. Denny Sanford School of Social and Family Dynamics at Arizona State University, where he teaches Bayesian statistical modeling.
Levy’s research and teaching interests include methodological investigations and applications in psychometrics and statistical modeling, focusing on item response theory, structural equation modeling, Bayesian networks, and Bayesian approaches to inference and modeling.
Levy is co-author of the book, Bayesian Psychometric Modeling (with Robert Mislevy). He has published more than 50 refereed articles in high profile journals in psychology, education, and statistics.
He has served on the editorial boards of several journals and has received awards from the American Educational Research Association, the National Council on Measurement in Education, and the President of the United States. Levy holds a B.A. in Philosophy and a Ph.D. in Measurement, Statistics and Evaluation, both from the University of Maryland.
