Ross Jacobucci
Ross Jacobucci is Assistant Professor in Quantitative Psychology at the University of Notre Dame.
Professor Jacobucci’s main line of interest is in integrating methods from both machine learning and latent variable modeling. Additionally, he researches the use of machine learning for clinical psychology research, specifically suicide and non-suicidal self-injury.
Jacobucci recently published a book titled Machine Learning for Social and Behavioral Research with Dr. Kevin Grimm and Dr. Zhiyong Zhang. He is the author of 42 peer-reviewed publications, a majority of which either develop or apply machine learning methods.
He was named an Association for Psychological Science Rising Star in 2021 and won the 2019 Anastasi Dissertation Award from the American Psychological Association.
